Terms of Service
Last updated: 4 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Sheaf Android app. By installing or using the app, you agree to them.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Sheaf on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
Your content
You retain all rights to the documents you scan. Sheaf stores them on your device and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive. You are responsible for the content you scan and for having the right to scan and store it.
Subscriptions & purchases
- Sheaf Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and/or one-time purchases, sold through Google Play.
- Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions. Any free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play’s policies.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Sheaf to break the law or to infringe others’ rights, and don’t attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app except as permitted by law.
Third-party services
Sheaf uses Google services (Play, Drive, AdMob, Firebase, ML Kit). Your use of those is also subject to their respective terms.
Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss of data or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
